Our Story

FROM SCRATCH

WEAR OVER began with a desire to work for myself and build something I enjoyed doing.

I was looking for a way to bring together my curiosity about technology, my creativity and my drive to learn. Graphic design and textile printing gave me that opportunity.

STARTING FROM SCRATCH

When I started, I had no experience in design or the software I needed. I taught myself by reading, watching tutorials and experimenting. It was a project I could begin with the resources I had and develop as I learned.

That learning extended to every part of WEAR OVER. I handle the designs, website development, testing, production and orders. Even the workspace became part of the project: I converted my attic into a studio, from painting and lighting to organising the space.

GIVING SHAPE TO AN IDEA

I have always been drawn to dark, atmospheric work. It also comes through in the rap beats I make as a hobby. That same sensibility runs through my music and designs.

When developing a design, I look for a connection between the illustration, the words, the composition and what I want to express. Building that composition is the part I enjoy most: finding how the elements work together and how they translate onto a garment.

That approach shapes the visual world of WEAR OVER, across mythology, dark concepts, states of mind and raw realism.

FIND SOMETHING OF YOUR OWN

WEAR OVER started as a personal project. I hope you find a design here that means something to you too: something that reflects your tastes, how you feel or what you want to express.
